An Easter Egg for the Arts

I have lived near Washington D.C. for most of my life. One of the big events every year in D.C. is the annual White House Easter Egg Roll. I never attended as a child or adult, though I have always admired the wooden souvenir eggs of the event.

This year, in protest of the current President and administration, A local activist has designed an alternative wooden Easter egg for those who like the annual event but can't stomach the idea of it being run by You Know Who.

The best part of the egg, is that the proceeds goes towards PBS and the NEA, two national programs that the current administration wants to cut all funding to.

If this interests you, go to Protect Our Children Easter Egg's Go Fund Me page, and make a donation.

Happy Easter.
